Not terrible, right?
I am going to be honest, I struggled to balance work and family life during the first couple of months. For some reason, I couldn't find my way out of the life-sucking holiday fog. But at the end of February, it finally occurred to me that I needed to start from scratch and concentrate on just a few simple, but important things. At the top of my list was networking. This was seemingly the main obstacle that was prohibiting me from moving forward with my business.
In the month of March, I made it my top priority to connect with as many people and (female) business owners as possible. Within days, I was setting up multiple phone calls and meetings. This was just the boost I needed! I am happy (and relieved) to say that the month of April is looking very promising for me and my business. During this time, I also made some business and personal connections that led me to make a major decision.
After a few weeks of contemplating, I am now excited to offer Companion Care services!
I am always thinking about how I can help families beyond the infant & toddler years and because of the people I have the pleasure to work and volunteer with (families, children and seniors), this decision was my next natural step to grow my business. Companion Care services will be available starting today for any mature adult living in the Triangle area. I want to provide private assistance and friendship to the senior community at an affordable rate. To learn more about this service and others, please visit Services & Packages.
