Business consultations are available to those interested in a career in birth work (recent college graduates, newly trained doulas or doulas new to the area) who may be seeking general advice or guidance. Your intrdouctory session will be a 90 minute session for $100 which will include your custom business development plan. If chosen for the program, you can choose from the following support options:

I have learned that while fulfilling, birth work isn't for the faint of heart and I want to guide those who have a true interest in supporting families during pregnancy, birth and postpartum and how to best serve each one. I will provide the foundation to build a sustainable business, your way, while supporting families with purpose & passion.

- Birth work business consultations held on Google Meet with flexible options of one-time and ongoing sessions
- A cutomized business dvelopment plan, a community referral list and a business resource list for networking
- Homework assignments to assist with accountability and reaching your business goals

- Business concentrations and pathways
- Business development & Branding
- Clientele/Target Market
- Legalities of business and birth work
- Trainings and certifications
- Networking and community partnerships
- Factors to consider when starting a business
- Self care & burnout prevention
- Additional streams of income
- Faith-based birth work
BOBWDS Mentorship Options:
Business consultations are available to those interested in a career in birth work (recent college graduates, newly trained doulas or doulas new to the area) who may be seeking general advice or guidance. - As-needed consultations: 60-minute session for $75
- Ongoing mentorship (typically 3-12 months): 60-minute session for $60
